Why This Project Exists

I have always been a traveller. But somewhere along the way, I realised that I don't store my journeys as photographs or dates — I store them as feelings.

The smell of pine forests in Kasol. The electric hum of Fukuoka's streets at midnight. The gritty warmth of Madurai's evening air. The cold shock of Manali's mountain wind against my skin. These are not memories — these are coordinates of who I am.

And then I discovered my name means unique. And every GPS coordinate on earth is unique. That collision of ideas became this project.

This is not a data project. This is a self-portrait in numbers.

Smell

Smell reminds me of home

The scent of wet earth after Kerala rain — no photo captures that. Only a coordinate knows where I stood.

Sound

Sound defines my environment

I can close my eyes and hear exactly where I am. Every place has its own frequency.

Taste

Taste connects me to culture

Street food in Ho Chi Minh, temple prasad in Thrissur — taste is the most honest data point.

Sight

Sight is what I photograph

But what I remember seeing is not the shot — it is the moment I forgot to take the shot.

Touch

Touch grounds me in the present

Cold Himalayan granite. Bangkok airport's recycled air. These textures are timestamps.
